Phone Update Management System:
The Phone Update Management System used by Aradiom is a four-phase approach to managing phone updates proactively. This system allows Aradiom to synchronize phone updates from Aradiom's certification database with the customers' production phone databases, which are deployed with the Aradiom Mobile Framework™.
The four phases are:
1. Assess: Our update management process starts with an assessment of the feedbacks and the reports of the system in production to find out which phone models need updated information.
2. Identify: Our goal during the Identify phase is to discover which new phones are released or to be release during the next quarters of the year and determine whether they are relevant to production environments.
3. Evaluate and Plan: During the Evaluate and Plan phase we make a go/no-go decision to deploy the phone update, determine what is needed to deploy it, and certify the update to confirm that it does not compromise business critical system and application.
4. Deploy: The Deploy phase is very important to successfully roll out the approved devices update into the production environment so that you meet all of the requirements of any deployment service level agreements (SLAs) we have in place.
Java ME (J2ME)
Aradiom has chosen Java ME as the language for its AMF™ solution in order to benefit from “Mobile Java Security," meaning each program runs in its own restrictive "sandbox." This prevents the program from accessing the files or memory of another program or accessing the hardware of the device in the uncontrolled way. Java is supported on all Symbian handsets as well as most Windows Mobile.
* Today Aradiom has lab certified over 400 Java phone models, including BlackBerry.
Secure
Aradiom Mobile Framework™ uses industry standard security in conjunction with one-time password (OTP) and other Two Factor Authentication (2FA) solutions to deliver a highly secure framework out of the box. Aradiom Mobile Framework™ provides full security against untrusted downloads, malicious key logging, and phishing attempts. The server controls which applications its end users can download - and the download source. SSL connections are supported and enforceable. Aradiom Mobile Framework™ comes with Aradiom’s best in class two factor authentication solution (see Aradiom SolidPass ).
